  1. Wishing now I would have held off on my CVS trip. Will have to decide if it's worth driving back down there just for 2 free deos for my donation box.

  3. I thought the ecb was limit 1??

  4. The limit is 1 per household. If you are going to not abide by the limits, please, don't brag about it here. The limits are in place so everyone has a chance to purchase the deal.

  5. I am sorry, ladies....I did abide by the limit...The Degree deodorant is on sale 2/$5 and when you spend $15 you get $5 ECB back. I used 3-$3 coupons (from Don't Sweat the Small Stuff website) and did the transaction fairly and within the imposed limits! (Spent $15-$9 coupons - $5 ECB = $1.00/tax)

It wasn't my intention to brag but to encourage others to consider the aspect of donation to local food pantries. Mine is going to Feed My People in Lemay as well as a lot of cereal that has been on awesome sale recently.

I did abide by the household limit of 1!!

  6. P.S. Perhaps the misunderstanding came in with the purchase of the Right Guard deodorant which does have a limit of l per household (2 deodorants at 2/$5). I did purchase my 1 limit and intend to donate that too!

  7. P.S.S> I just realized that when I made my first comment it was on Jeri's blog post about the Right Guard deodorant, hence the misunderstanding with my first post deal.

    PLEASE accept my apology everyone!

  8. Hi Anonymous - Apology accepting and I'm sorry if I came off way too strong. It was late and I was waiting for my college aged son to get home. (Mom can never go to sleep until the kids are home.)

I think it is great that we can find so many great deals to donate to those in need. There is no reason a couponer cannot share the wealth.

  9. Hi Jeri!
NO problem and NO need to apologize!

You are totally correct about abiding by the limit. It is one area where Wags needs to reconsider....I read that they are going to test pilot a "Customer Loyalty" program in a few major cities...much like the CVS card policy. Competition is good!

YES, we should all consider sharing the wealth and "paying it forward" to others. Not only is it rewarding for the individual but it also teaches our children about giving to others and the concept "It's not all about me."

It really doesn't take any more time than doing it for oneself. A little here and there by every couponer adds up quickly!!

  10. I like CVS's limits. I never have that nagging feeling of - should I go back for more that haunts me with Walgreens deals.

  11. What is the street address for Feed My People? I sometimes have an overabundance of personal care items and my church's food pantry doesnt take them.
