Here is what I plan to shop for this week:
Aldi - I picked up the staples of life. Milk, OJ, bread, strawberries and coffee creamer. I can't live without cream in my coffee.
Kmart - I love the Double Coupon Event. Even though I usually don't shop at Kmart, I've been to Kmart everyday for my 5 FREE items. Make sure you check out the comment section on my Kmart post. Lots of readers have shared great coupon match-ups.
Walgreens - I'm still Register Reward free, but I did stop and pick up the cheap Pilot Pens and Highlighters.
Shop 'n Save - I'm not sure I can get to $50 this week. There are only a couple of sale items that interest me. I'm going to take my coupons for a free item, a few other high-value coupons and my calculator and see if I can get to $50. If not, I'll just pick up my couple of items and call it quits.
- Small Steps Napkins - These are the best priced napkins I've ever found.
- Fresh Express Salad Kits - This isn't the cheapest way to buy salad fixings, but I love the ease of this product. And, $2.50 is about as cheap as you'll ever see them.
- Soup Beans - This is the only item I "need" to buy.
- Pillsbury Sweet Rolls - I stopped earlier in the week and picked these up to test if the Catalina coupon was working. I have a $4 Catalina to spend.
- Fresh Express Spinach
- Barilla Pasta
- 7 UP - Love a freebie.
Dierbergs - I'll finish spending my weekly budget at Dierbergs. I'll have to see how much money I have left and what fits in the budget.
- Aqua Star Fish Fillets - $2.29 per pound is a good price for fish.
- Delicious Apples
- McCormick Seasoning Grinders - I'm not sure what products are on sale. I'm sure I'll find something worth bringing home for this price.
- S&W Beans - Stock up price.
- Hefty EZ Foil Pans - A few of these are nice to have around.
- New York Cheese Toast - I like to buy a few of these anytime I can pick these up for under $1.
- T Marzetti Salad Dressing - I love their Blue Cheese. Yes, I can buy other brand cheaper, but this is one of my favorites.
- Palermo's Pizza - If I can find room in the freezer.
- Club Crackers - I think I have a few tearpad coupons around for them. And, I'm out of crackers. I son eats crackers like it was popcorn.
What are your shopping plans for the week?
I was at Dierberg's last night. McCormick grinders were $1.49. I think the cheaper prices are those in the packets (gravies, etc.) Luckily I had the Vocal point coupons for the DelMonte fruit. I am not a big fan of canned fruit, but tried some this morning...I'll be going back for more at just 99 cents with the coupons!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa - Thanks for the update on McCormick. I might have to add the Del Monte fruit to my list now.
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle at your comment about your son & crackers! Same thing w/my 12 & 13 yr. old sons. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've gone to Schnucks earlier in the week for Spinach, brown and serve sausages, bread and milk. K-mart doubles twice, Target, Shop N Save today--spent $8 for over $50, but freezer is now so packed--no more room and my "free" coupons are running low. It's been a good week, with more to go. But, I have to say, without my free coupons, Shop N Save had no deals this week, except the Digiorno, b/c I had the $4 houseparty coupons. Kelly
ReplyDeleteJeri - I thought the staples of life were Dew, Hershey Bliss, chicken tenders and tater tots!
ReplyDeleteNot much in the ads this week so I'll use up some free coups at SNS and pick up some odds and ends.
That's what I did...FREE coupons & ground beef since we needed some....only got down to $25, but that's better than $50 :)
ReplyDeleteThe register at Kmart said it owed me money today...LOL What a way to start the day :)
I loaded up on cereal and cinnamon rolls at Schnucks. Plus pasta...we were down to our last half box. The horrors!
ReplyDeleteMy expensive Dierbergs pot roast smells good in my crock pot :)
No SNS this week for me.
Thanks everyone for sharing your shopping plans.
ReplyDeleteRachel - Did the cashier at Kmart give you money back? That would be "paid to shop."
Marcela - I could almost smell your post roast from here.
