My "best buys" are items $1 or less, meat for $2 or less a pound and a few other items that are at rock bottom prices. When I keep my shopping list to these items, I can bring home a ton of groceries for very little money.

  2. Jenny - You're welcome. The list really helps me decide where I'm spending my budget for the week.

  3. I found 64 ct. box of Kotex Lightdays pantiliners for $2.70 at the St. Charles store. With both coupons, I got .05 overage per box. I also found a different package of Bic pens (easy glide) for .99 for 9 pens. Free plus .02 overage for the 2 packs.

You had the Kelloggs Cinnabon sticks on your SNS list. Fyi, Target has a great deal, selling them for $1.75/box. Just .75/box after $1/1 coupon. I saw this on some other blog and will be stopping back by Target to grab a few boxes.

Just want to tell you that I love your blog! You do a great job of highlighting the local deals!

  4. Kelly - Great buy on the Kotex! Do you know if different stores in the area have different prices?

If you can print 5 coupon, I like the SNS deal better on Cinnabons. There is an in-ad coupon for $5 when you buy 5. So between coupons and the in-ad coupon you only pay $2.50 for 5 boxes. And if you're in St Charles, it would be an even better deal taking advantage of $10 off $50 on Thursday.

  5. I'm not sure if different Target stores around here have the same prices on those Kotex or not. Only one store is convenient to me so that is the one I always go to.

I'll probably end up getting the Cinnabons at SNS. My Target only carried the larger box of them for $2.79. So better deal at SNS. Plus I have some gift cards from dog-sitting for my sister! :-)

  6. Kelly - I just shop at one Target also. They aren't like Walgreen with one on every corner.

I'm planning a road trip to visit several diffent Target to check prices. I was hoping you might have alread known.:)
