This is another great week at Walgreens. You can pick up seven items FREE - after coupons & Register Rewards. But it's not an easy week to roll Register Rewards between deals because so many of the Register Rewards are from S C Johnson or McNeil.
Remember, you can roll Register Rewards. Take a look at Quick Tip - Using Walgreens Register Rewards for rolling tips.
I highlight only the best deals. Take a look at Walgreens' full ad here.

Today I bought 2 4 pack Starbucks Frapuccinos for $15 and should have received a $2RR. I paid with cash plus a $3RR from Colgate and a $2RR from Carefree. The manager and cashier were very nice and knowledgable and said they've had trouble with the Starbucks RR printing and weren't sure why. They speculated it was because I'd used RRs to pay (which shouldn't have mattered since my RRs weren't from the same company as the item I was buying). I think sometimes the RR machine just isn't set up right for some of the items. Luckily I realized I didn't get the RR and went back in and they gave me $2 cash back. I love the RRs but sometimes the system just doesn't make any sense!
ReplyDeleteCorrection - my total for the Starbucks was $10 not $15. I always find typos after I push the button!
ReplyDeleteCJ - Sounds like you at least had a good manager to work with. I agree the RR system can be a hassle. I can't imagine the frustration it causes for Walgreen employees.
ReplyDeleteI wish the comment section had spell check.
Jeri - The manager seemed at frustrated as I was. I know it's no fun for them to have these hassles all day either. I wish things at Wags worked better, for the customers and the employees!
