Walgreens Deals - Week of 10/18/09

Sale prices good October 18 - 24, 2009

This is another great week for Walgreens shopping. I love all the money-making deals. I'm using my "earnings" to replace the 9-volt batteries in the smoke detectors.

Remember, you can roll Register Rewards. Take a look at Quick Tip - Using Walgreens Register Rewards.

I highlight only the best deals. Take a look at Walgreens' full ad here (available on Sunday) or the ad scan at I Heart Wags

  1. FYI, another good buy is the Skintimate Shave Gel--$1.99 w/in-ad coupon. There was a $1.50/1 coupon not too long ago (sorry I don't know which inserts), making it .49. I'm wondering if the $1.50/1 was a St. Louis region coupon since I haven't seen this deal listed on any blogs I regularly check for Walgreens match-ups.

  2. Kelly - I can't find the Skintimate copoun in the past few months inserts but it was in:

    Good Housekeeping - Oct 2009
    Better Homes & Garmde - Oct 2009
Ladies Home Journal - Oct 2009
    Womens Day - Oct 6, 2009

  3. I don't get any of those magazines, lol! Must be why I don't remember where it came from! But somehow I have 3 of those coupons! Guess from my mom & a friend who does get those??? Thanks for clearing that up, Jeri! :-)

  4. The Sure For Men and Pert for Men are included in the sales and RR deal, so if you have 2 $1.50 coupons for each from today's insert, 2 each are free.

  5. Those same magazines had $1.50 off Glade candle tins this month. At least the BH&G did.

  6. em - Thanks! I need to pay more attention to the magazines.

  8. Amanda, Thanks for the link. Are you still getting the link to work?

I tried it this morning and got the message the campaign had reached it's print limit. Has it reset?

  9. TRIAMINIC AND THERAFLU "Walgreens coupon -$6 ($2 coupon will be deducted 3 times)" I tried to use this but they only let me use it one time...I even bought one triaminic and 2 theraflu and they would not let me use one of each of the walgreens coupons???did I do something wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Rats! You're right, Jeri, about the coupon reaching it's limit. I printed 2 last week. Sorry about that - new to your site. Will keep checking - thanks! Amanda

  11. Anonymous - The Walgreens' coupon will automatiaclly deduct the $ amount for each of the itmes you purchased. Did they override it to make it only deduct the $2 once? I've never seen that happen before.

And they didn't let you use both Triamini and Theraflu coupon? Unbelievable. If I ever have a bad couponing expierence at Walgreens, I leave the merchandise at the store and shop at a different store.

Amanda - No need to appologize. I always love readers input. Thanks for reading.

  12. Has the Theraflu IPQ been back recently and gone again? I have not been able to print any even before. :(

  13. coupon.girl - I don't really know. I printed mine last Thursday. You could always get your "friendly" Walgreens manager to open the case and dig through them to see if any had the $2 peelies. :)

  14. coupon.girl, I think Amanda and Jeri were talking about the Zantac and Vaseline coupons. The Theraflu might still be available. I printed mine last week, so I haven't tried recently.

The coups in the Suburban Journal were $2 on Theraflu, $1.50 and $3/2 on Triaminic.

    ReplyDelete
  15. em your correct. I was thinking Zantac even though I read Theraflu. Sorry for any confusion.

Oh my coupon.girl! I would have really put you in the dog house with your Walgreens manager if I had you, have him look for peelies

  16. I found that if you try to mix and match with the Theraflu and Triminic it doesnt seem to take off the whole 6.00 only $2.00. So I went to another store and bought 3 theraflu and it worked fine??? Also we had a $3/1 for the Theraflu in our paper so I had $9 man.cou and $6 walgreens coupon so I made $8.03...YEAH!

Also, They Zantac site is printing $5.00 coupons again...limit two I believe.

  17. Christy - The Theraflu/Triminc deal gets more confusing every day. But you got a great insert coupon.

Thanks for the update on the Zantac coupon. I posted about the coupon working again.
