  1. There is a 5 off in the P&G 2/27 for the Venus pro skin razor. If I have figured right that will be a one dollar mm.

  2. WOW thanks for the heads up on the Venus Pro Lynda!!!!!

  3. I think the coupon is for the razor AND a cartridge. :(

  4. I need glasses so bad that I can't see if it is for the cartridge to. I think we have had this discussion before. Memory and eyes are going at the same time. lol

  5. Hi Lynda - I'm not sure glasses would help to read the Venus coupon - a microscope might be more helpful with P&G's teeny tiny print.

  6. Just got back from my walgreens run this week - they had the Right Guard body wash, bogo and used the bogo coupon, hooray - but here is the surprise - my bottles had peelies for $1 off, which I noticed but did not present thinking it might be cheating. Cashier took them off and I even pointed out they might be an issue, but he said he would just try them last and they worked! MM!!! FYI, my store priced the body wash at 5.99 and the bogo coupon has a max value of 5.49, so without the peelies it would have cost my $.50 for 2 of them.

  7. some of the right guard deodorants are 4.79 with the Q max at 4.49. My first cashier didn't see that and neither did I but the next cashier caught it so I made sure I found the 4.49 deodorant so it is free.

  8. No problems using the Right Guard BOGO coupons - my cashier didnt even try to scan it, she just took $3.99 off - good girl! Also got 2 free Irish Spring deos and an Entertainment book. The SoCo Wags keeps them behind the register if you're looking for them.

  9. Hi All - I purchased Right Guard deodorant and I hadn't paid any attention to the coupon limit. My cashier deducted $4.75 without giving it a second thought. I guess that tells up how high
    regular prices are at Walgreens.

pixie_bit - I don't think the cashier should have not rang up the other coupons on a B1G1. But, I've had cashiers want to do that too.

Too bad there isn't a happy medium where cashiers understand what is correct usage of coupons. I've had serveral people tell me they weren't allowed to use their B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 sale.

  10. I ran into a bit of a problem with my Right Guard B1G1 coupon. Even the Asst. Mgr. had some trouble trying to figure it out. I finally explained that I should only have to pay the tax and Viola! .61 cents for 6 deodorants!! Glad it worked, but can see why so many have trouble.

  11. Hi Anonymous - You shouldn't have to "defend" using this coupon. You should contact Walgreens Customer Service

  12. I have had issues forever using B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 sale at Walgreens. I finally gave that one up (That was before the written policy though....) Would be interested to hear if there are more problems with that one.

  13. Hi Andrea - From what I've heard some people have no problems with B1G1 copuons on a B1G1 sale at their stores and other peopel do. It shouldn't depend on the store/employee/manager if you can use the coupon or not.

  14. Check your stash, I have a Free Excedrin product printable Q from exedrin.com that I have been holding onto in hopes of a RR deal. The Q has a maximum value of $5.99 and expires 3/31.

  15. Next week at Wags - buy 4 Reach toothbrushes for $3.96 using .99 in ad coupon and get $4 RR, making all 4 free! A money maker if you have any MQs. Hand the MQs over first to avoid the dreaded beep!

  16. I went to Walgreens this morning (1st time in over a week) & did this deal:
    4-Excedrin PM 24 ct. @5.29 each
    2-Irish Spring Deodorant @3.00 each
    3-snicker eggs @ .29 each

    used:
    2-$1.00 coupons (deodorant)
    3-$2.50 coupons (excedrin)
    $3.00 RR
    $5.00 RR
    $5.00 RR
The register took off $5.30 (50%)at the very end

So my total was .23 & I got back $14 in RR :)

Now if only I could get enough courage to try the new rules out at Walmart LOL

  17. Hi Rachelstl - Great job! If you give Walmart a try, let us know how it goes.

  18. has anyone had problems finding walgreens "deal" items in stock? I tried 5 different wags on the way home from work and none had the rightgaurd deo or bodywash, irish spring or purex crystals!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hi Anonymous - Yes! Walgreens is notorious for not stocking much of the sale items. If you don't shop on Sunday, you're lucky to find any.

This week the store I shop told me that they never got in the Dial lotion on sale.

  20. Jeri,

I had many problems using the B1G1 coupon. One store told me I had to buy 4 and another told me they would not accept it at all!! I contacted corporate and the manager store called me back the next day and she explained why she would not accept the coupon. I told her that because of the inconsistencies between stores, I want corporate to contact me and tell me their ruling on how these coupons can be used.
Well...today the same manager called me back and corporate sent a memo today telling their stores that we CAN use the B1G1 coupon with the B1G1 sale. YEAH!!!! One for us. So in the future when a similar sale with a coupon is offered, remind them of this deal and the memo that was sent.

  21. I seem to be having more and more problems being able to find anything on sale at walgreens, it's kinda annoying. Why even put something on sale if you arent going to have any in stock all week?

BTW i have stopped at walgreens MANY times this week every time to find nothing I am looking for :( I kind of want to stop going but I'm addicted LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hi Allison - Woo Hoo! Good for you for standing your ground. I hope Walgreens sent the memo to every store and they read it.

Hi TwinMom - I agree Walgreens doesn't stock enough sale merchandise. Sometimes stores don't have any to start with. Maybe couponers, should contact corporate everytime stores have no or limited stock on a sale product.
